Are you a Bioinformatician or data scientist who wants to integrate & mine genomic/phenotypic cancer data? Do you have the skills to research, design, & develop analyses for data of genetic contributors to cancer? If so, then PDX Finder and EMBL-EBI are looking for you!
PDX Finder are searching for a highly skilled bioinformatician to support the EurOPDX consortium & EurOPDX Research Infrastructure in their analysis of genomic & drug response data from Patient-Derived Xenograft (PDX) models. EMBL-EBI is a partner of the EurOPDX Research Infrastructure, & is responsible for developing standards, harmonising PDX-related data, & developing analysis pipelines to feedback results of both project partners and the wider cancer research community.
The candidate will have the opportunity to re-use, design, & develop analyses pipeline to explore one of the fundamental problems of biology - how do our genes contribute to cancer?
